The office of the Pension Funds Adjudicator is a statutory body established in terms of section 30B of the Pension Funds Act, 24 of 1956. Section 30B entrusts the responsibility of carrying out the mandate on the Pension Funds Adjudicator and the Deputy Adjudicator/s. The Adjudicator and/or the deputy Adjudicators are appointed by the minister of Finance in consultation with the Financial Services Board.
